Today marked the end of a fabulous show at the MBAL with an incredible display of Alex Prager photographs on multiple floors as well as « Old Future » the painterly works of Erik Madigan Heck pictured here. His images are reminiscent of many great masters from Romanticism and/or Impressionists periods. A delicious blend between fashion photography and fine art. On the ground floor there was also a showroom created by HEAD Genève alumnus Thomas Liu Le Lann. Overall, a unique mix of contemporary art and photography which I adored.

The museum is now closed and will re-open on February 15th 2019 for new exhibitions (Viviane Sassen, Sophie Bouvier Ausländer, Laura Letinsky, SMITH, Lili Erzinger) so if you’re in Switzerland and want to discover a unique museum in the hearth of the snowy Jura Mountains don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.
